I’m still trying to figure out how to control the elemental buff spell from the wind trainer. I’m guessing there is a spell or boon that does the same thing as well because I’ve gotten it randomly from one of my spells. Lightning damage boost comes from bless potion. It’s more like a small tornado looking thing? But it does a small amount of electric damage, still does high stability damage just like regular mana push and travels a fair distance. It’s not the ball of lightning, that’s one of the advanced rune spells. I think lightning is among the regeluar spells that are hard to get adamage boost for. The mana infusion spell gives a buff to fire damage in a fire sigil but sadly does not appear to do anything in the wind sigil. Oh? In theory the set up would be a pain, but you can summon your minion and attack onto your Sigil from a distance. But it gets better! This doesn’t stop conjure’s other effect of raising a minion. If you use conjure while there is a wind Sigil active near you, you don’t have to stand in it for this one, it will conjure a giant lightning bolt from the sky onto the Sigil and does massive damage and aoe explosion. The only easy access ranged magic u can get is the charcrums which take up ur offhand as u need it equiped and the spell, so no staffs, sigils need a book but can later get a skill to no longer need the book, and the flamethrower spell u get requires u to have a lantern in off hand so only runes will really get to use 2h staff, but rune magic doesn't have any long range attack spells. it makes it really hard in the maze like dungeons too. With magic this is even worse as you will be comboing ur spells so u don't really have room to place certain spells in ur quick slot and will need to regularly navigate the menu to pre cast some spells before combat, and god help u if u get jumped. So swapping gear mid combat so ranger going to sword and shield u lose 3 slots basically to do that, then for abilites for both sword and bow take up a couple slots and u have 1/2 slots left for potions. Now all this is neat but the game only gives u 8 quick slots that will fill ur abilities/items/equipment. There are also rune spells from the sage trainer, 4 dif runes and u cast a combination of 2 of them to create their spells that last for a little while. there is a spell fire sigil that uses up a fire stone and places down a mark on the ground where u cast it, while standing in there if u cast spark it will cast fireball instead which has range and dose good damage. spark on its own is a tiny explosion in front of you and not worth using for anything other then lighting camp fires. As far as i have worked out, some spells work together. ![]()
